At a loose end this weekend?
Expert upcycler Yasmin Falcão is hosting a pair of affordable workshops designed to help beginners turn their old denim pieces into something cool and wearable.
It’s all happening at Ebony Seed, 4 St Patrick’s Quay in Cork City at 1pm on Saturday, January 20th and Sunday, January 21st.
“Join Yasmin this weekend for an amazing workshop where you will learn how to bring more of your personality to your denim clothes using only scissors and bleach.” the organisers told us.
“We are going to upcycle your old jeans and make them an expression of yourself.”
Participants will learn how to bring more personality to denim clothing with two techniques; ‘destroying’ and ‘bleaching’. All you need to bring is an open mind and a denim piece from your wardrobe – anything from jeans to shorts or a denim jacket is ideal.
“But don’t worry, we will have some samples to learn everything on first,” they added.
