STRONG winds have delayed the opening of two East Lothian recycling centres.
The local authority has taken the decision not to open the facilities in North Berwick and Dunbar at the usual time.
A spokesperson for East Lothian Council posted on social media: “The recycling centres at Dunbar and North Berwick will be opening later than normal today (Monday) due to the windy weather.
“We’ll share a further update about opening when we have more information.”
The facility at Kinwegar, Wallyford, remains open as normal but people are urged to take care due to the windy conditions.
