Hempsted Household Recycling Centre closed due to flooded access road – Gloucestershire Live

A recycling centre in Gloucester is closed today (January 6). The road used to access Hempsted Household Recycling Centre is reportedly flooded.

People who were due to visit the centre today are able to visit another site instead. Otherwise, their booking will be valid next week.

The closure comes as a number of flood warnings remain in place across Gloucestershire. The county has been battered by heavy rain in recent days as Storm Henk hit the region.
